Course Outline
This course offers an introduction to Computer Science with a strong focus on Programming, Networking, Databases and Cyber Security. Students will learn to create software solutions using algorithms and structured programming. They explore the complex interactions between users, developers, and society in computer systems. Network communications and data transfer are also covered.
Students also gain skills in designing and developing relational databases. They create queries and consider the security of network communications. Ethical and legal obligations in data collection and storage are explored, along with the societal impact of computer-based systems.
