2025 Year 12 College Ball

On Saturday, 1 March, over 400 students, their guests and staff members attended the 2025 Year 12 College Ball held at Optus Stadium.
Upon arrival, students were offered mocktails as they mingled in the foyer waiting for their friends.
Once the clock struck 6.30pm, students entered the River View Room to find their tables which were decorated with either glittering candles or cherry blossoms. On each table was a selection of delectable entrees for students to nibble on while waiting for the evening to begin.
The event was opened with an Acknowledgement to Country before students were addressed by School Captains, Ella Trail and Elle Griffin, and Year Leader, Julia Lee. After the formalities, students were free to enjoy their evening with dancing, photo booths, professional photography booths and a roving magician.
The buffet offerings included vegetarian and meat dishes, and an array of desserts were served later in the evening, with students eagerly lining up to taste them.
The staff band ‘The Mindoozies’, took to the stage halfway through the event, surprising students with a set which included Mr Brightside, Lanterns and Summer of 69.
Throughout the evening, the DJ set the mood by playing student selected songs that had everyone on the dance floor.
Congratulations to the following students who received special awards on the night:
