Year 12 Presentation Evening – Tickets Now On Sale

The Year 12 Presentation Evening is the final formal event for Year 12 students. This is a significant occasion where we celebrate and farewell the Class of 2024.

Awards will be given for outstanding achievement and community involvement and our talented performing arts students will also showcase their talents during the night.

Students will be dressed in an academic gown and will cross the stage to be recognised for their commitment to secondary schooling.

Students will be briefed on the format of the ceremony in two separate assemblies in week nine. All students are expected to maintain their good standing until they leave the College, or their right to attend the Presentation Evening may be rescinded.

What time does the event start and finish?

The ceremony will commence in the Riverview Room at 6.30pm and guests can be seated from 6.15pm. Students are required to arrive at Optus Stadium (Gates C & D, Doors 7 & 8) from 4.00pm to be issued with their gowns.

What do students wear?

Students are expected to dress in neat, respectable attire. Footwear needs to be suitable for walking across the stage; so very high heels should not be worn.

Each student will be issued with an academic gown upon arrival at the venue which will be worn over their clothes for the duration of the ceremony. At the end of the evening, students will be required to remain in the Riverview Room to receive their presentation packs from their Mentor teachers. They will then be required to return their gowns to the gowning station in the concourse area before departing the venue. Gowns must NOT be taken home.

Will refreshments be available to purchase at the venue?

Refreshments will be available to purchase before the evening’s proceedings commence from The Champions Terrace. As it is a school event, alcohol will not be served but tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks (packets of crisps, chocolate bars etc) will be available for purchase. Please note that there will be no food vendors open at Optus Stadium so we encourage you to eat something substantial before you arrive.

How do I get there?

Take the train on the Joondalup line to Perth Stadium. Travel time is approximately 54 minutes from Clarkson Station. The 3.10pm train will get you there at 4.04pm.

See the Transperth Journey Planner to plan your journey https://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/Journey-Planner.

Alternatively, there will be limited parking available on the Northern Oval at Optus Stadium. See attached map for guidance.

Is there professional photography?

Bliss Studio will be on site to capture all the moments of this important milestone.

Individual and family photography will be available from 4.00pm in the concourse area of Gates C & D, and again after the ceremony.

All proceedings on stage during the ceremony will be photographed.

Details on how to order the photos will be included in the students’ presentation packs.
