2017 Arts Week
Arts Week started in style on Monday, 4 September when the Arts Learning Area showcased their students’ talents over the next three days from Visual Arts, Media Production, Photography, Drama, Dance and Music.
All events were well supported by students, staff, parents and friends and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The Year 12 Music Students ended the successful Arts Week when they launched their Original CD, ‘Take Note’ recorded and mixed by Fraser Cringle and directed by Lizzie Lysons and Sheila Randall.
Congratulations to Tinsey Jones and Gabi Scardigno for being awarded the inaugural Mark Folkard Art Acquisition Award, Millie Thomson for the Endeavour Award and Anya Harris whose artwork has been selected for the 2017 MSC Christmas card.
Tommy Fracassini has also been selected as a finalist in the Rio Tinto Earth Assist, ‘Capture your Curiosity’ Photography Competition for his photo of a lotus flower taken at Araluen Botanic Park.
